Westmont started off as an agricultural community, then a commuter community with growth and development surrounding the railroad station. The Westmont Park District currently manages 155 acres of parkland in the community and is celebrating 50 years of service to the residents of Westmont. The Westmont Park District provides programs and family-friendly services throughout all the parks and facilities in the community. Ty Warner Park donated 7 million dollars around the year 2000 which is a 36-acre attraction for all ages. With 155 acres of parkland to spare to Westmont residents, you can be sure that there is a 9-hole Par 30 golf course and an indoor sports complex to enjoy.
